Community Structure was started in 2003 to help non-profits organize their clients and keep track of their supporters. Since then, we’ve built dozens of sites for small and large communities, both commercial and non-profit.
Our President, John Bartucz, has been building websites since Mosaic was the only browser with pictures. He is still closely involved with all the design and is always just a phone call or an email away.
Why “Community Structure”? In Computer Science, a network has “community structure” if it divides naturally into groups of nodes with strong connections within groups and sparser connections between groups. Our goal is to make our clients’ networks stronger. This doesn’t necessarily mean more communication, it means better communication. Your users will build your community, all you have to do is give them the structure.
