IT Consulting

Every company in the twenty-first century uses technology to be more efficient, reduce errors and increase profits. But how do you know if your technology is working with you or against you?

At Community Structure, we have worked with non-profits, small businesses and Fortune-500 companies to ensure that the employees are not forced to fight the tools that are supposed to be helping them and that management is receiving the best return on their IT investment.

There are typically three stages in which we can be of help:

1. Discovery

When a business is deciding whether to invest in a new technology, many questions arise:

  • How do we know which solution is the best for our needs?
  • How do we know if we’re paying too much?
  • How do we get input from our stakeholders without extending the process for months or even years?

Community Structure has the experience to answer these questions. We work with each part of your business to gather the requirements and evaluate all of the available options. We will not make a decision for you, but will present the strengths and weaknesses of each strategy in terms that everyone will understand. You will be confident that the solution will be on time, within budget and will meet your business requirements.

2. Evaluation

If you’ve been running the same IT systems for several years, it probably means that people are very comfortable with them. But you have a nagging question in the back of your mind: are we really being efficient? Is there a better way that we could be doing things? Are we paying too much for the service we receive?

Because of our broad background, Community Structure is able to evaluate your existing systems from the ground up. Everything from your office network to services in the cloud can be evaluated for efficiency and value.

We understand that change is very difficult and we never recommend it lightly. However, there are times when significant savings in time and money can be achieved with a new process. We can help with any transition, from new computers to a new email system. We will ensure that everyone understands the process and is “on board” before we start. Finally, we are always available 24 hours-a-day for emergency support.
